Adding attendees to event/coupon

    Hello,

I originally wanted to allow customers to apply a coupon to an event. I saw that functionality was not available.

My plan for a work around was to manually add guests to the event. That does not appear to be possible either.

How can I allow certain guests to sign up for a paid event for a free or discounted price?

    Hello Taylor,

    Thank you for your purchase!

Unfortunately, we don't have event coupons for now in Amelia and there isn't a workaround for this.

But this is a feature that we have in our to-do list and we will add it in one of our future updates. I can't say exactly when it will be implemented and released, but we will do our best to be as soon as possible.

We can let you know when this is released or you can subscribe to our newsletter and be informed of the plugin's new updates and features.

If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask,

The workaround I used was to switch Stripe into test mode and to manually sign up on behalf of the attendees that I wanted to get in for free.

    Hello Taylor,

Well, if that is working for yousmile.pngBut, yes, it seems like a lot of work. One of our users said they are using WooCommerce coupons , if you have this integration and you are working with it you can maybe try this one as well. The only thing here is that Amelia doesn't recognize their coupons and on the plugin's finance side you will see the full price, but the customer will pay the price with the coupon.

Sorry I can't help you with this more at the moment.

We will do our best to implement the event coupons soon.
