we are building a booking site for safaris and hiking trips in Africa. I tried to access the backend demos but they are all blank when I login. is that suppose to happen?
One feature that we have different is that these tours tend to be spread over multiple days so we need to display them on the monthly view calendar. is that possible?

On this one https://sports.wpamelia.com/ you can try both frontend and backend. We currently don't have multiple day appointments, just events.

the demo works now. I tried adding a multi day event (from 2nd October to 5th October) for example in the demo account, it does not show up in the calendar. Can you please help?
What is the difference between appointments and events? can customers still book events and pay for it?

Yes, customers can book event and pay for it. Events can last multiple days, while appointments can last up to 24 hours. Appointments have more features than events since events are new module and we will still be adding more features with every next release.
You can try making event on the back and on the event page:https://sports.wpamelia.com/events/ on the front end you should see your event, just be sure to select date before the event in the time picker on top right, should look like this: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQudP1wB
