We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi,

A couple of questions related to event display:

    1. Is it possible to display events in a grid?
    2. Can they link to a page that has event details - either as a custom post type for Amelia or a dedicated sales page that has been developed separate to Amelia?

    Thanks,

    JP

    Hi JP,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    1. Unfortunately something like this is not possible at the moment. Since events are one of the new features we have made just list view. However, we certainly plan to work on more options for events and if we get more requests for grid view be sure that we will add this also.

    2. In the next version we will have option to display single events with a shortcode, so then you will be able to create page with event details and then add that single event shortcode on the page. Also, each of our events can have description in it, I don't know whether you have tried this?

    Best regards.

Great, so maybe the short term solution is to create a custom post type and output that into a grid view. Then for the single event custom post we can just have a field to insert the Amelia shortcode to handle the booking function.

In the future, Amelia may be able to handle of this....would you plan for the ability to be able to customise the Amelia event slug, so we could change it to whatever we want, e.g. /events/post-name or /book/post-name, or whatever we choose? This way we could keep the same URL structure if we needed to as what is already in place.

    Regards,

    JP

    Hi JP,

We didn't have this in our plan since we didn't receive any similar request until now, but we will add this suggestion on our features list and track the number of requests for it. If the feature gets more requests we will certainly think about implementing it.

    Best regards.
