I purchased this plugin for a client. They provide booking of performers for events.
They want customers to be able to book multiple performers for specific dates and times, which is easy with Amelia. But they also want customers to be able to add multiple performers to their "order".
Sorry for late response, we are not working on weekends.
Can you please explain me more this" But they also want customers to be able to add multiple performers to their "order" because I did not quite understand what are you trying to achieve.
Do you maybe have some example/screenshot so I can take a look and give you my suggestion.
I don't have screenshots, unless I just mocked something up... but I'll try and explain in more detail.
So the situation would be something like:
The customer is having a party on Jan 1 @ 3pm
They want to book 3 specific performers (let's say: Juggler, Fire Twirler, and Dancer)
They need to be able to book 3 specific performers for the date and time. And I can't create individual options for every scenario (that would be crazy because there are so many performers and different amounts they could want).
The customer needs to be able to say I want the Juggler for this date and time, I also want to add on the Fire Twirler, and add the Dancer. Or something to that effect.
There also will be customers who just want to book one performer.
Maybe for this case the best option would be to use extras but for events this is not possible at the moment.
Extras feature for events are in plan to be released for the future updates.
Maybe you can use appointments for this case and create a service for that service add extras ( extras will be Juggler, Fire Twirler, and Dancer) You can find more information on this link about the extras.
And the extras seem like a good idea. But this doesn't prevent overbooking these extras, correct? Theoretically, someone could book an appointment for a service and add the juggler as an extra. Then someone could book a different service and add the juggler as an extra to that, on the same date and time. Correct?
If this is correct, what I'd really want is the ability to add multiple services to the original service. That way performers wouldn't get double booked.

Is there a way to accomplish this with Amelia?

Yes, I definitely want to use appointments.

HI Matthew,
You can set the extras for each service and set the quantity for the extra.
But yes you are right it can cause the extras to be over lapped.
Best regards.
