I purchased Amelia to use for booking events on my web page. I have it linked to WooCommerce so I can use other payment options as well as use upsells in it. All my events have different price points naturally.
When creating an event in Amelia I need it to create a new linked product in WooCommerce. This way I can add another Amelia event as an upsell to users on checkout.
However Amelia only seems to create a single product. Is there a way that Amelia creates a new Woocommerce product for each new event added? Or is there a workaround for this perhaps?
If every event in Amelia resulted in a new product in WooCommerce (and hopefully added fields like price automatically) then it wouldn’t be an issue. For now I only get 1 product in WooCommerce for all events, which means I cannot use the WooCommerce payment options or Cartflows integration which Amelia doesn’t have.
And since Amelia doesn’t have those other payment options, this is blocking for my clients in The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium
Hello Marc.
Thank you for your purchase.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features, although it is a great idea, and I will forward it to our development team, so they can work on implementing it in one of our future updates.
Amelia creates one "Product" in WooCommerce, and it provides the necessary connection between WooCommerce and Amelia plugin. It will not, however be visible to your customers.
You can set as many different prices as you have services or events, and it will be shown in WooCommerce - there's no need to have a separate product for each service or event.
For instance - if you have 10 services which can be booked through a regular booking form, and their prices are:
When you've set up WooCommerce payment, and your customers go to book an appointment, they will be presented with a different price for each service. Also, if you have some extras, which allow you possibility to add additional services or products customers can buy when they are scheduling the appointment, that have additional prices, they will be added to the price.
Same goes for events - each event can have a different price, and when customers continue to checkout, they will be presented with a different price for each event. Like I already mentioned, the "product" in WooCommerce that was generated by Amelia is only used to connect WooCommerce and Amelia.
I hope this helps.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
