It appears there is no way to bulk export the list of event attendees as a csv. This is a critical omission as we need a way to easily create a bulk email/contact list for event related communications and also need a printed check-in list at the event.
Events are relatively new feature and unfortunately there is no option for this yet. We are working on more shortcodes for them and also more functionalities for the future updates.
I really think this is not an optional feature for running events on the platform. Is there any way this could be prioritized?
I really like Amelia for both my businesses and customers!
I do see there is a customers list. I don't see any way to filter or sort it though. It would be nice if we could filter it to customers just for a particular service or event. Also I see we can export from the customers area as a csv. One of my pet peeves with these sort of "paginated" lists is that I have to go through and export each page. Is there a way to allow me to select ALL customers, or if you implement filters, ALL customers for that filter? This would then solve this problem!
Thanks for your time and really I do love the plugin it is great!
My bad on the pagination complaint in my last reply. I tried the export and saw that if I select the "select all" check box, it does export all the customers, not just that page. GREAT!
The only thing needed then is a way to filter the customer results by event/service that they booked. This should be an easy add, no?
Also, in the exported csv, there is something weird:
It has columns for date of birth and last appointment but those just show up as the day "9/12/2019" and time "9/12/19 11:07" of the export I did. I know I can uncheck these from the export, but wouldn't it be better, if some had this data and some don't to just default to a blank or "NA" or something as filler data instead of the date/time of export. This could give a problem in a list where some have birthdates or previous appointments and some do not.
Thanks again for the great plugin the more I use it the more I like it!
We plan to work on the Events Dashboard in the future that will cover most of these things. I will save your suggestion so we can use it while making the Event Dashboard.
As for exporting attendees, we do have an option to export the list of attendees in a CSV file. When you go to the Events page, beside the Event you will see the Attendees option, once you open it beside the Search field you will see the Export option.
Look forward to the event updates. Even if we could get a csv export over a date range that included the following, the data could be sort and filtered in Excel:
Thank you for this suggestion. One more question from us, if you export multiple events in the save CSV file and each event has a large number of customers/attendees, how would you like info from those attendees to be exported?
As long as are associated with a event, even if there are mulitple events are in the CSV specific events can be filtered along with the customers/attendees at the event.
Also if the export could be date defined, the amount of data in the CSV could controlled. Also if you could select events and then have the ability to select a toogle that would allow you to select All Attendees that your list everyone attending, or Total Attendees that you give you that name of the event, along with the ability to select the followingfollowing the CSV would be very straight forward
Event Date
Event Name
Event customers
Employee Name
Tag(s) associated with the event
Total Number of attendees
Your Appoinment Export tool provides options of what to export and if you could do something similar that would be fantastic.

HI Ryan,
Unfortunately at the moment you can only search the customers in the Customers page by the name.
I will forward your suggestion, so we can hopefully implement this for some future updates.
Best regards.

Hi, I would like to follow up on Ryan's request from 2019.
Is the ability to extract Event Data been considered yet. From my perspective it would be help to export Event data that includes:
If data could be exported as a csv we could extract and organize as required.
Hope the ability to extract event data is consider as part of Amelia's future development.
Even if the export customers feature could be extended to include events, and employees would be helpful.

Hi Bruce,
Sorry for taking me so long to answer. I have forwarded your request to our development team to see what we can do for our next updates.
Thank you for your detailed explanation, we will use it as an idea once we start working on the Export Events option.
Best regards.
