I have two employees set up and have assigned different services to them and they have different working days.  However, their appointment times should be the same:  10am to 12pm, 12pm to 2pm, 2pm to 4pm, and 4pm to 6pm.

I have set up their working hours to reflect these appointment times but when I look at the front end, the times available start at 10am and are 30 minutes long so there is a 10am-10:30, and 10:30-11am, etc.

What do I need to do to fix this so clients only see the 4 available appointment times?

    Hello Jesi Cason,

Could you please tell me have you set the Service duration to be 2 hours? And also the default time slot in settings to be 2 hours as well (this can be done in Amelia -> Settings -> General Settings here you should set the "Default Time Slot Step" to be 2 hours) ?

And if this is done, you don't need to have working hours of the employees in 2h time slots, you can just set the employees' work hours from 10am to 6pm.

If you have already done this and still have this issue, please let us know, and we will see where the issue is coming from,

Thank you Marija!  Here is the issue that I'm running in to:

Our basic service lasts 30 minutes.  But even if he finishes it in 30 minutes, I don't want him to be booked in the next 30 minutes for something else because we have no way of knowing in advance how long travel will take him.  Our service is real estate photography so he could be driving 10 minutes or 45 minutes to his next appointment.  So I want the appointment times to be only those 4 times I mentioned, I want two hours to be blocked off, but I don't want the client to think the appointment will definitely take 2 hours.  I want it to accurately reflect how long each service will take (photos 30 minutes, aerial photos + 15 minutes, etc)

If I change the Service duration to 2 hours, the front end looks like each appointment takes 2 hours which they don't.

Marija, I think I have fixed it by adding "buffer" time to the end of each session.  Thank you!

    Hello Jesi Cason,

You are welcome! I understood that the services should last 2 hours.

Yes, the buffer time is a great solution in your casesmile.pngGreat you figured it out!
