Flexibility in forms?

    Hello,
I installed the free version of Amelia to see if it does what I am looking for. Unfortunately, almost everything I needed to test is greyed out and only available for the pro version. So I hope you can answer my questions. What I'm looking for:

Multiple events (usually a half or a whole day) in multiple locations. One form, where the visitor can select the event type (in this case choose from different exams), location and date.

    Is this possible with Amelia?

Is it also possible to have the scenario where you can have a form offering a predefined selection of exams, and a second form with another predefined set of events?

    Kind regards,
    Boris

    Hi Boris,

You can try our demo sites: https://wpamelia.com/demos/ to gain a better understanding how Amelia work.

We have short-code for displaying all the events right now and with next update we will add more shortcodes. You can book each event and fill in the form for each.

Let me know if you have further questions!

    Hi Nevena,

the demos did not supply me with the information I needed. Let me rephrase my question so you can understand better what I'm looking for:

I am looking for an events plugin which will help me realize the following:
    - the visitor is able to filter events by location and/or date and/or time, then register. An option to show this as a calendar would be nice.
    - the owner is able to create events in a simple manner, such as (ideal situation) creating one event with multiple dates/times in multiple locations.
The scenario is that the visitor registers for an exam, which they can take in different locations on different dates/times. Initially, there will be only one exam for which they can register. That is why it would be ideal to be able to create one event and add multiple location/date combinations.

If this is unattainable, a decent alternative would be one event per exam/location, but set it with multiple dates/times. This will keep the number of events that need to be created to an acceptable level.

Can all of this be done with Amelia?

    Kind regards,
    Boris

    Hi Boris,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do all of this. We don't have an option to filter events by location and time, just by date, to get better picture here's how it looks: https://beauty.wpamelia.com/events/

Events can be easily created with multiple days, but single event cant be on multiple locations.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have further questions.

    Hi Nevena,
one more question: You say events can easily be created with multiple days. But what I need is:

    - Event A on 20, 21, 29 september, 1,9,13 october. On each of these days at times: 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock. Is this possible?

Hi, yes, this is possible, you can try out yourself on our demo website: https://sports.wpamelia.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fsports.wpamelia.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    Hi Nevena,

I'm confused. My client has purchased an Amelica basic license a couple of days ago, and since then I've been busy setting it up and testing. I've created a ticket with a few questions, but I am not getting any answers. This complete lack of response is strange to me, as you did respond even before I had a license.

Can you please help me to some answers regarding ticket #2155469

The main thing is that many of the benefits of Amelia do not seem to be present in Events, only in Appointments. And I can only use it for Events.

    Thank you!
    Kind regards,

    Boris

Hi Boris, I see that my colleague has responded to you. Sorry that you had to wait, sometimes due to a large number of requests to waiting time is up to 24 hours, if it is a weekend it might be longer. Thanks for your understanding.

  • Jaap Bijl replied

    Hi Nevena,
yes, I've received a response now, thank you. I did not know what the standard waiting time is, it is not mentioned anywhere. Meanwhile, I have a client in a hurry, so, yes I understand your situation, and I hope you understand mine :-).

    Kind regards,
    Boris
