We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello,

I am currently design a website for a friend of mine who owns a restaurant. Would Amelia be suitable to allow customers to book tables ? Amelia seems to be pretty robust but I haven't found the time to dig that deep into the free version of Amelia to sure. That would be a vital piece of information before I commit to the premium version.

Thank you for your help and greetings from Switzerland !

    Hello Laurent,

Thank you for your interest in Amelia!

It should be possible (it depends on how your use case is specific), but you should know that we don't have the option to show table positions in some 3D or 2D model or something similar.

One option is to create one service like 'Reservation', and then create all tables in the place where our employees are (the label 'employees' is easy changeable), and then once the customers choose table they would see available dates and time slots. However, you should know that in our plugin each employee needs to have its own email address, but there is a workaround if you use gmail or outlook mail for scheduling.

You should also know that we have option to set capacity for each employee (table) and option to close the table from further booking when minimum capacity is reached (so you can restrict people who not know each other to book the same table to until they reach the maximum capacity of the table).

The other possibility is to set services as a tables, but you would need to set one employee for each service (table).

In both case you would need to have time slots, but with some custom CSS it is makeable to hide the end time.

You can test our plugin on our demo sites here to see all features that we currently have.

Note that once you purchase the plugin you also have 15 days money back guarantee so if you fail to set it according to your use case you can request a refund.

    I hope this will help.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

    All the best!
