    Hello there,

I am in love with your simple, front end booking system but my client is very particular about having an SMS program attached that they can blast with messages about specials.

Is this something that we can leverage in WP Amelia SMS? If not, is it possible to export the contacts into a file that we can import into third party that can handle mass SMS?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello James,

Thanks for your interest in Amelia!

Unfortunately, something like that is not possible at the moment.

Although, our plugin do have SMS notifications with these possibilities, you can take a look and see if that fit your needs.

If by specials you mean coupons which allows you to create promotions to offer customers discounted prices for their appointment, from the version 2.1. of the plugin, you can use coupon code placeholder for notifications text and there is an option for automatic sending coupon codes when a customer books a certain number of appointments – now it is possible to define a notification interval (e.g. issue a coupon for every 5 appointments), configure whether the coupon should be generated every time when the defined number of appointments is reached or just the first time, and define the usage limit by the customer; so now the coupon codes can be sent automatically. Coupons can be exported to a CSV file.

Regarding to your question about exporting contacts, yes, you can also export a list of your customers in a form of a CSV file.
At the top right of the “Customers” page and next to the sort option, tap the “Export” icon button. Clicking on the “Export” icon button will open a dialog allowing you to choose the delimiter used for CSV and to select the columns you’d like to export. When you are ready, tap on the “Export” button in the dialog to download a CSV file.

    I hope this helps.

    All the best!
