We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi there,

What is the best way to solve the following case using WP Amelia?

An association has several weekly classes of dance, on different ages (categories) and times.

Each member will filter by age in order to choose one of the proposed times and that will be his scheduled time for all year. For this, they have annual plans.

What is needed is an easy way to choose age and then see what time slots are available for that age and when they register for their desired class, it will "force" them to acquire a yearly subscription for that time slot.

Shall I create a regular event, with categories for age and let each of their members buy this event which repeats weekly or do you recommend a better way?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Rui Duarte

    Hello Rui.

    Thank you for your purchase.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but Amelia doesn't let you add custom fields (like age) before selecting service, employee and date and time.

You can create separate services which would be named a certain age gap. Then, you can display the plugin in frontend via [ameliacatalog] to make it more eye-pleasing, although [ameliabooking] will also allow them to choose a different service (age). Then they would be able to see available time slots available for that service (age).

Yearly subscription (recurring appointments) is not yet a feature of Amelia, although we have it planned. You can make events to be recurring weekly, monthly or yearly, but that is an entire different setup, and wouldn't allow your customers to choose time slots.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,
