    I need to modify the value shown in the cell to a more complex string not just an url.

    Lets say the value of a column from db is value1, value2 or even a json format. Then I will modify it to multiple link e.g link1, link2 using PHP.

    I'm thinking of adding snippet, then wpdatatables on render will pass the value to the snippet first and let the snippet adjust the value and return it to wpdatatables, then render it in the table.

    Is it possible to do this ?

    I check there is a custom WpDataTables JS but then it will add it to every wpdatatables which I don't need. Is there a better way ?

    I just try using JS addOnDrawCallback method, success in changing the cell but cannot pass any html tag ( it get remove ).

    It probably can be done with some custom work, but unfortunately customization requests are not covered with included support of the plugin.

    I can point you to our hooks and filters, and you can take a look if there's anything you could use there.

    Please note that using hooks requires certain level of programming skills and included support refers only to advice.

    We do offer our paid assistance when it comes to customization questions like this, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
