AppSumo is a time-limited one-off deal, and the terms offered there will be applied just for a limited number of customers. Similar as with other AppSumo deals and other promotions, unfortunately it does not have retroactive action for customers that purchased the product before the deal started, and similarly it will not be available in a couple of days when the deal will be over. It is in no way taking advantage of the customers, on the contrary rather a unique opportunity for everyone to get a lifetime deal for just a small percentage of its price, and we don’t have a plan to run it again for Amelia.

What you could do is to cancel the current subscription so that recurring yearly payments would not happen in the future, and get the AppSumo deal while it’s valid, that’s what some of our existing customers did.
