Every table has column filters which can be turned on or off, depending on what you need. There are a lot of filters you can choose from, but if you want to apply them to image columns, you'd have to use the "Image" type column, and filter type "Text", so you could search by file name; or use the string type column where you'd insert the picture like this:
<img src="url-to-the-image">
and filtering text values would work the same - searching for the file name.
You're mentioning a screenshot of the PHP table that includes images. Can you please show me what you mean?
I bought the plugin and added an image column but I'm having two problems:
I can't seem to add a link to a larger image. I went through the video on this page step by step but never get the edit window where I can add two URLs with the "two sticks." This is what I see when I add a new file: https://www.screencast.com/t/7nefmIVNKpj.
I created thumbnails that all have a height of 100px so that my row heights are the same, but they're coming in all different heights. I don't see a place to set them to full size. This is what they look like: https://www.screencast.com/t/d8PXsEMKaP.
I'm launching two books next week and want to release this chart picker when I launch, so I'd really appreciate your help.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here because this ticket is private and nobody can see it except us.
Also, could you please open a new ticket (just reference this one, so I know it's you), and add the credentials there. This ticket is under pre-purchase section, and since you purchased the plugin now, it falls under a different category.
As for the thumbnail size - can you tell me where you're seeing these values? I opened the table, and inspected it, but all thumbnails are 100px in size (see attachment).
Also, in your screenshot I see that the row size does look the same.
I see now that the issue is happening on front-end.
wpDataTables is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) concept based plugin. This means that the table should look the same both in back-end and in front-end. If your front-end table looks and behaves differently than in back-end, this usually implies that there is another plugin (or the current theme) that's changing the behavior of our plugin.
In your case, I believe the theme is overwriting the table's configuration:
Here's where that style.css is coming from:
I went in wpDataTables settings/Custom JS and CSS, and added this to Custom CSS:
Hi,
I need a table with an image column that also has column filters? The screenshot of the PHP table that includes images didn't have column filters.

Awesome. Here's a link to the table with some images.
Thank you so much! It's a fantastic plugin that made it possible for me to offer an analysts a really cool chart-picking tool.

I went in wpDataTables settings/Custom JS and CSS, and added this to Custom CSS:
That should show the table normally now.
Please let me know.
