BROOKSIDE
%coupon_1% <---------- it's exactly the same.
I have about a dozen different coupons. I've tried a few of them with test bookings used the code (the coupon is accepted and the price is adjusted). In all cases the placeholder comes across in the email and not the actual coupon used.
What is actually supposed to be the text instead of the placeholder.
Secondly, I'm not quite sure how to incorporate this (maybe because I'm not sure what's going to show up in the notification email). So for example, if I have 10 coupons and a client books and I need to know which coupon they used, if I have
%coupon_1% all the way to %coupon_10% in the notification email, will one of them be different so I know which one was used? Will the other 9 be blank? etc.
I mentioned this in an earlier feature request and was told to use custom fields, which you can see I am using ("BROOKSIDE"), but it's duplication of effort (the client has to pick "BROOKSIDE" from the dropdown to trigger the custom field and then type "BROOKSIDE" in the coupon area so they get the appropriate discount). I'm trying to eliminate the need for my clients to have to do the same thing twice - so if I can find out which coupon they used in the notification email it will solve the problem.
When you hover over the coupon placeholder you will see for which coupon it refers.
You can put all the coupon names in the notifications but only coupon which is related to the booked service will be displayed. ( so like you said all other 9 will be blank)
Hi Bogdan, OK, that clears up the usage, but I put all of the coupon codes in my notification template and then did a few test bookings using some of the coupon codes. In all cases, the email translated my other codes (e.g. customer name, service, price etc.) correctly but the coupon code did not come across (in the email it still had the placeholder not the actual value).
I created a new coupon (coupon_15, code = "TEST"), modified the notification template to include the code (Hovering over it showed me it was the Test code) and then made another dummy booking - same thing again - the code is accepted during the booking (I can see the tick and the price adjusted) but the coupon does not show up in the email. Is the "Notification Interval" (under Finance/Coupons/Edit/Notification) supposed to default to zero. I can't quite understand what that value does.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Any update on this? Also not sure but I think for some reason this ticket was marked as 'closed' before I made my last comment. Can the ticket stay open until resolved.
The ticketing system is closing automatically tickets after 7 days but you , as owner of the ticket, just need to reply and it will be opened.
Due to vacations almost all of our developers are on holidays, and one that developed this feature will come on Monday so I will let you know as soon as he returns.

%custom_field_4%

Hi Brhum,
Thank you for your purchase.
When you hover over the coupon placeholder you will see for which coupon it refers.
You can put all the coupon names in the notifications but only coupon which is related to the booked service will be displayed. ( so like you said all other 9 will be blank)
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
