If you buy the license now, your account will automatically be charged for another year of subscription once one year from purchase passes, unless you unsubscribe.

During the subscription period you will receive all updates, and have support for the plugin. You can cancel the subscription at any time, and that period will still last one year after purchase.

For example - if you purchase today, and unsubscribe immediately - you will receive all updates and have support for one year, but your account won't be charged after a year. After that you will not be receiving any more updates, nor will you have support, but you will still have a functioning plugin with the version it was lastly updated to.

Yeah, you can move the license. You cannot use the Basic license on more than one domain, but you can move it if you deactivate it from the old domain, and activate it on the new one. If you, by any chance experience some issues with this, you can let us know, and we'll deactivate it on the old domain remotely.

Basically, you don't need the license activated on the local machine in order for the plugin to work. It cannot be used on two domains (localhost is a domain), so my advice is to activate the license on live site, and work on wpDataTables on your local machine with an inactive version of the plugin.

You'll have to update the plugin manually there, though.

When you purchase the plugin, you will receive a download link, and credentials for accessing our store via e-mail.

Once you download the .zip installation folder, you can follow the tutorial I sent in my previous reply and install it on localhost. Activate the plugin, and use it freely. 

Just don't activate the license there (if you do, you won't be able to activate it on your live site), and that's it. The license is activated in Amelia Settings/Activation.
