Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
My client is running a gym where people with a membership can access group classes for free but those who do not have a membership have to pay a drop in fee. Is there a way to setup Amelia in such way?
Can this be integrated with Ultimate Membership Pro plugin?
thanks
Martin
Hi Martin,
Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, this can't be done easily, code customisation would be required. But how our users use a work around for this, you can make two services, all the same except one is free and the other one require payment, so you can place the short code for the free one on the page that is accessible just for logged in users who are members.
Wouldn't that create double booking since you have two service running? If you have maximum capacity in a class that would create problems? It seems like to book classes with a maximum participants I would have to use events as people can book classes on a day to day basis. Would the system know the paid and free event are one and the same?
Hi Martin,
when you connect service to employee there can't be overlapping, for every service you can define maximum capacity. The system will see ti as 2 different services. The other solution can be to generate coupon for those people, so they can book with a discount code of 100%. These are just use cases of our users, so you can decide would that work for you.
