Hello,
In the Event Next Day Reminder notification there's a code snippet %event_cancel_url% that I would like to configure for use in the Event Booked email. When testing this the code gets sent as is in the email body. What needs to be configured so that the url is live?
Thanks,
William
HI William,
Thank you for your purchase.
Are you using the real appointments emails or you click on the Send test email button?
Best regards.
Kind Regards,

Hello Bogdan,
This was a test email so perhaps that's the reason the url wasn't displayed. If that's the case, could you provide some direction as to what that url will be or where it is assigned and the process for users to cancel events. I'm in the dark on this.
Thanks,
William
Hello,
Just following up again to see if it's possible to get some direction on this. Please advise.
Thanks,
William
Hello William.
Yeah, if you simply tested the e-mail the cancellation URL is going to be sent as a placeholder. The cancellation URL is being generated at the same time a new appointment is created, and it is being associated to the customer, employee, service, time and date, so when you're cancelling a live appointment, it will send out a cancellation URL to the customer.
You can test this by creating a dummy customer with your e-mail address, and see how it behaves.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
