We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
hi TMSP Support,
how to make column with foreign key searchable?
thanks
Hi slompretz,
Thank you for your purchase.
If I understand you right you can set for this column Filter type that you need and this column can be searchable by column filter. Also, you can search this values with Global search above the table.
If this is not what you look for, please explain me in little more details and send me some example/screenshot/screencast, so I can give you my suggestion.
Best regards
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hi Milan,
please see attachment below. So, if I create a column where the data comes from foreign-key (other table), I can't search this column. How to make this column searchable?
thanks
Hi slompretz,
Yes for foreign keys columns you need to insert exact the same values to get the results. My suggestion is to remove that global search(turn off Main search option) and to use Filters above the table with option Filters in a form on SORTING AND FILTERING tab in table settings and then for foreign keys column to use select box filter type. You can disable column filtering for column that you don't need.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic
