We are thinking about purchasing wpDataTables for making a simple online books libray. But we want to know if it is possible to link over the records of a table view another view of a single record.
We are located in Serbia and our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET. business days.
Sorry but I did not quite understand what are you trying to achieve. Can you please explain me in little more details and send me some example/screenshot/screencast, so I can give you my suggestion.
For example I make a table that contains the books of my library. The table is perfect, and also I make relationships with other tables as Authors, Customers...
But I want to have a view for just only a single record, just only a single Book, with all fields beloning to this record.
Books table (many):
Title Author ISBN Date
------------------------------------------------ Title1 Author1 ISBN1 Date1
Title2 Author2 ISBN2 Date2
...
Unfortunately at the moment there’s no built-in solution. However, we are working on some add-on called Master details where something like this will be possible and it will be available in near future.
We're requesting the very same feature. We're still evaluating a few options, but clicking on one of the records in a list to show a detail page like described below is one of our must-haves. The team is also asking for comments on those detail pages. Is this planned in, too?
Milan is currently on vacation. I will mark this discussion, and forward it to him as soon as he returns, so he could provide a better reply.
I don't believe we are planning on adding a comment section in "Master detail", but can't say that for sure. It'd be best if we wait for him to return.

The user would then be able to comment on this, like he would be able to comment on a post or page.
