i would be very grateful for your support on this one. What i would want to achieve is having buttons Edit and Delete for every row of my table, present as the last two columns, and affecting respective rows. Also, i would like to have New Entry button under the table itself. I have tried to look at the code, but to no avail.
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin build in features at the moment and it require some code customization of the plugin which is not included in the regular support of the plugin.
It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
But we can recommend this service for customization: https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins (by this link they would know you come from us) - they do develop such custom solutions, could you please send your inquiry to them?
ok, thats no problem. Can you please point me to the function that handles entry delete and edit on frontend? I cannot seem to find it. For deletion, i though that it is handled in wpdatatables.js via "Delete an entry dialog", but editing it seems to have no effect.
it was a block with a title "Delete an entry dialog". I tried to add a specific code directly to the plugin, but i will try it via hook, thanks for the tip.
so i have found a way that is suitable for my knowledge and needs, but im struggling with a final problem. I changed the function and selector for the "Delete an entry dialog". Currently, i am able to make it work for table header, but not for individual rows. I'm certain the problem is not in the selectors i use. Is there a reason the function should be working for header (or even each cell of the header) but not for the row? I event tried to apply it for a specific row, and specific cell row, but with no positive outcome.
*edit: It think might have something to do with plugin's function `wdtRenderDataTable`.
We can take a look, and perhaps give you some pointers but cannot make any promises. Like mentioned in the documentation Bogdan shared with you - using hooks requires certain level of programming skills and included support refers only to advice.
Could you show us how it looks like? How'd you get it to work at the moment?

Hi Vaclav,
I can give you some guide what you should done.
For case like this you should make some script that will add the HTML for those buttons in the column cells.
Then you can check our documentation written for developers to add some hooks.
Can you please tell me which lines of code did you look in the wpdatatables.js file
Best regards.

Miloš Jovanović
