I am sorry to disappoint you, but this feature accesses the WP User ID for the user who modified the row, and is displaying only the data for that user.
If you wish to hide the table for all, except for several people in your company - you may want to take a look at membership plugins, which allow restricting or viewing the data only for specific users and groups.
Unfortunately, wpDataTables doesn't have this option, but I know other customers managed to achieve what you're trying to do with those plugins.
could you give me a hint which plugins I could use?
At the moment I cannot imagine that such plugins could solve the problem. There is no possibility to change from WP User ID to a CompanyID that is saved in the WP User file by making some changes in php?
I can point you to this document, where you can see some of the most popular Membership plugins.
I believe you could add certain employees to a certain group using those plugins, and then limit viewing the table by the group. I never did that, though, so I can only assume their functionality. I've seen people do it, but I can't help you with the configuration.
Dear all,
I have a question regarding the option "Users see and edit only own data"
I have more than one user of the same company and they must be able to both access the info under that company, is this possible?
Best regards,
Adriano
