We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Is Amelia the right fit for my business model?

    Hello!

I am building an online community for a new trending sport.

There are two ways that I think Amelia can help with my business but I wanted to check with you to see if Amelia has the capacity to do what I want.

    1) Multiple Staff - Separate Calendars/Booking Options
In addition to this community I want to create a marketplace where sport coaches/instructors can register on my site and then create/manage their own schedule, coaching session types, pricing, (possibly other custom fields). At first I may only have a few of these instructors but over time there will likely be hundreds of them.

    2) Event Registration
Another thing I would like to do is manage tournament registrations. There are many tournaments going on across the USA, all year round. Let me give you an example. Let's say the city of Orlando, Florida was hosting a tournament but they don't have a booking software. I want to be able to add someone from their organization as a manager and let them use Amelia to manage all the registrations for their upcoming tournament. They would need custom fields like T-shirt size, and possibly a few others.

Please let me know how Amelia would handle both of these scenarios. Please provide as many details as possible!

Thank you so much. I really hope your tool is the right fit for us!

    Hi Jordan,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

    1) We have option for creating multiple employees but only the admin can create employees, your coaches wouldn't be able to access the back-end before they receive an email with login (before you add them Amelia WordPress employee user role). The admin can create multiple employees on the back-end, and once he do that he can add for each of them Amelia employee user role. Once he do that, the employee (coach) automatically receives the email with login details, URL link to login form and URL link where he can set his password. Each employee once he logs in can see his appointments and his profile where he can edit his personal information and working hours, days off and special days. However, employee cannot create services or edit them, only the admin can do that. So you as an admin would need to create those services and assign them to the employees.

    2) You would be able to add manager user role to specific people, so they can create and manage events, but you should know that manager can see all events created by other people (it is not separated so the managers see everything). You would be able to use Amelia in a multisite environment so each manager can have its own settings and separated Amelia, maybe this is something that would suit you more.

    Best regards.
