Unfortunately, this is the third time in a short period of time that I need to contact you guys. Again, something broke in the plugin.
This time the plugin is spinning and spinning....forever. I troubleshooted the plugin a bit and something I noticed is that when I wanted to add the shortcode via the Glutenberg editor, it said: "First create a service, employee and location". But, everything was aleready there. In fact, it was working at the beginning of the week when I last checked it.
Can you please give me some information what is going on, how I can fix this and what is causing this so I can fix it without your help in the future.
I'm sorry but I couldn't log in with the credentials you provided.
Actually, there was something in the Gutenberg editor that was sending out this message when you have Categories with no Services created under them. We overlooked that case when we developed the plugin, so can you please check if there is a Category without any services?
The fix will be implemented in the next release, so you don't have to worry that this fix will be deleted with the next update.
I've checked the website again and the status is nowadays that a part of the created services can be found by the booking service. On the moment, there are two categories of which one is found and filled in in the frontend views. The other category was not found by the views and still presents the 'spinning' view.
The password was indeed incorrect, my bad. I'm sorry for that. I send it again so you can have a look yourself. It seems to be a edge case, because I can't see any service or category that is empty.
Detail: The shortcode selection tool in the editor does see the 'hidden' category with it's services.
That's correct. But the services that are listed are not all the services which were created with a category in Amelia. There is a category 'missing'. The 'Huidtherapie' category does not appear, with it's services, in the drop down list. The category that is shown is 'Huidverzorging'.
An other example which may be helpful is the following.
On this page (link down below) is the Amelia View 'spinning'. It can see the service but it can't complete some function. This is a service from the 'missing' category Huidtherapie.
A treatment of the other category is fully loaded as can be shown on the following page (link below). This is from the category that also appears in the drop down list of the Amelia Booking view.
Did you, maybe, add the location after you added an employee?
That could've caused the issue. I simply opened the employee who works on that category, and hit "Save", without applying any changes. When I did that, the booking form appeared, and everything started working normally.
Sorry for the long ticket, hopefully it helps you guys too.
I checked the website again and I saw that the services indeed came back into the booking form and that the catalog forms also are working again. Thankyou for that.
So if I may sort this out a little. What I understand from this edge case is the following:
- When a location is created after a employee is created, you have to save the employee again with the (new) location the be sure the treatment has an employee that has a location to work on.
Is the above the right way of thinking? I mus say, that the workflow makes sense. I hadn’t tought about it. Thanks for your help!
Exactly right. If the location is created after the employee is created, you simply need to click on "Save" to apply the location settings, and that's it.
I believe the issue should be fixed with one of our next updates, though, so you don't have to worry about it for a long time, I hope.

Hello again Arjan.
I logged in successfully this time, but I can see that the booking form comes up now - it's not just spinning anymore (see attachment).
Can you please check that and let me know?
Best regards.
