I suppose that you test it with test email, where this placeholder is not working, because for it you need real customer data. Test emails are just for checking are your email are sent.
Can you tell me did you try to book some appointment with some test customer data?
Sorry, somehow I don't quite understand the system. Is it possible to use the employee calendars with Amelia without the employees having to log into Wordpress? I'm mainly interested in the possibility of customers scheduling an appointment via the website and the employee being able to accept or cancel the appointment via Outlook. Is that possible?
Once you (as an admin) create an employee, you can create and configure the front-end employee panel where they can log in, and configure their schedule and manage their appointments.
Make sure to enable all features you need for them in Amelia Settings/Roles/Employee.
For outlook integration, please take a look at this page.
This still means that employees have to maintain the area in Wordpress. This means that they also need access to the Wordpress area and cannot organise everything via the Outlook calendar, e.g. cancel links or release links. Click on links so that the appointment is automatically confirmed or cancelled.
Front-end employee panel is not related to the back-end (dashboard) of your WordPress site.
The only thing you need to do is create a page with [ameliaemployeepanel], and add the URL of that page to Amelia Settings/Roles/Employee.
After that, your employees can manage their services, profile and appointments from that page, without ever logging into WordPress.
You are correct about Outlook - they can't confirm, cancel, edit or update any info through that integration, bu they are able to link their employee profile with their Outlook Calendar.
Hello,
I'm setting the notifications on Amelia, and I thought that someone can cancel an appointment through the link provided by %appointment_cancel_url%.
But that shows nothing. Can you tell me how to use it?
Thanks
