I discovered yesterday that the table can be edited when not logged in. I discovered this while on a call with a WordPress developer who accessed the link above from his browser. Without logging in he could put the cursor in a cell and the editor appeared.
Separately, extra characters appear when I'm in the editor. I'm attaching the support ticket I sent to the WP developer after some deep review of the issue, and eliminating issues with the theme and plugins he found this wpdatatable issue has been reported previously.
I appreciate your help, until I get these resolved I can't use the plugin and I've put a good amount of time to get the most out of it.
Can you, please, reactivate the plugin and create a page which will not be displayed on the front end, where you can put the table in question.
After that, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I would really need to see this to be able to help you out. I've encountered it a few times, but it was always a different solution to it, so I dare not tell you where to go from here. We'd lose more time like that.
