We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – AmeliawpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

We're evaluating the lite plugin for wpDataTables, but have an important project for which we'd like to purchase the pro version.  We're having a problem however when deactivating and then activating the plugin.  Deactivation goes fine, but activation hangs the server past its 60 second time out value, and the activation fails.  The browser gets an error 500 http timeout.

It does take a while, but I am able to activate the plugin via wp cli, and can do this on the network level like so:

    wp plugin activate wpdatatables --network

The remaining issue is that wp cli only allows me to address the main network, the syntax doesn't seem to allow me to make subnetwork changes.

Are you aware of issues that would hang the plugin activation process or make it take particularly long?

    thank you,

Chuck Wyatt Manager of Web Tech. Services Clark University

    Hello Chuck.

I'm not sure I completely understood.

Have you purchased the full version, and are now trying to activate it? If that is true, you cannot simply enter the purchase code in the Lite version, and it automatically updates. You would need to delete the Lite plugin, install the full version and then activate the license.

We haven't had any complaints like this though. No one reported the 500 error when activating the plugin.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,
