We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – AmeliawpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Large data load

We need to load (we are hosting on AWS) a csv with 50 columns and at least 70,000 rows of data.

Is there a way to enable to a large amount of data to be loaded through the plugin directly?

Or do you have a suggestion as to any easy way to otherwise load this amount of data?

Please note from time to time we also expect to need to add to the database with an additional few thousand rows of data.

    Hello commtogether.

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

That amount of data is not an issue whatsoever if you're using the database - creating an SQL query based table. I wouldn't recommend creating a table linked to an existing data source (CSV), simply because it is too large.

If you have access and at least basic knowledge of MySQL, you can import the CSV file into the database, and create a new table there from that file.

Then, you can create the table in wpDataTables like:

    SELECT * FROM mytable

And when you decide to add a few thousand rows more, you simply import the CSV in the database again (only this time you wouldn't be creating a new table, but instead import only new entries under the table you created previously).

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,
