We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello,

I would like to upgrade my site to Amelia 2.0 but I cannot automatically update. Should I first remove the current plugin and then install the new version from CodeCanyon? What happens with all my data? How can I do a smooth upgrade?

    Thank you!

    kind regards

    Hello Stijn.

If you activated the license by clicking on "ACTIVATE WITH ENVATO", you should be able to update it automatically, from the "Plugins" section. If WordPress reports something like "Link you have followed has expired", that usually indicates that you would need to increase the upload limit in your php.ini file.

You can update plugin from WordPress Plugins page (deleting the plugin and upload it again) or to update the plugin manually with FTP by following these steps:

1.) Download zip from this link

2.) Use FTP to open /yourwordpressfolder/wp-content/plugins

    3.) Delete existing ameliabooking folder.

4.) Upload previously downloaded ameliabooking folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)

5.)  Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.

6.) Deactivate ameliabooking, and then activate it again.

7.) Clear server and browser cache (IMPORTANT if you are using caching plugin)

Please note that if you delete old version from WP-admin (by clicking “Delete” in the plugins page) you will not lose your data and settings because it is already saved in database.

    Best regards.

    Kind Regards,
