If you're linking to an existing Excel file, you cannot add a new column, nor will that table be editable in the plugin. So, you could add the image column in the Excel file, and fill in the values like this:
<img src="url-to-the-image">
And that will show the image in the table.
Another way would be to import the table from Excel. That table will be editable, but any changes you make in the table will not be reflected in the source file.
Hi, I have a table and will be importing data (text and numbers) using Excel or CSV files.
But I also have images that I would like to import.
These can be similar to the examples of product images on your website: https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/column-features/image-columns/
Is it possible to import images into a table using an Excel file - for example, using URL of the image ?
Thanks.
