Hello, we are a value-adding re-seller of electronic point of sale software and systems. We are looking for a way to create dashboards for our many customers who wish to see sales data from their outlets. Is there a way for your plugin to access Sybase SQL data? We have a reportuser login that allows us to get sales information directly from the database. Otherwise, we might be able to figure something out with XML or something, if that would be more viable. Any ideas? We'd be keen to use your plugin for all our customers that would be interested in using it, if we could make it work sufficiently. Thanks.
wpDataTables can connect to multiple databases, so this shouldn't be an issue. Please take a look at our documentation to see the details about adding a separate database connection, but as long as you have the parameters, there shouldn't be an issue.
You can even connect it to our sandbox site, and test your setup before purchase.
