Having trouble adding an employee who is already added as a wordpress user:
1) The user is an administrator who has an email address for that account - if i add them as an employee in Amelia > Employees > Add Employee i need to use an email address which will be the same as the email address used for their administrator wordpress account - Amelia doesn't like that and says it's already in use!! How do i get around that?
2) Unless the new employee is added to wordpress as '"Amelia Employee" and not as an administrator i can't add them to the Add Amelia Employees form and link them to their wordpress account - but i still can't use the same email address - doesn't make sense.
3) I am an administrator in the system and yet have been able to add myself as an employee with the same email address - how did i do that for myself as the first employee but can't do it with others?
1) Yes when you install Amelia on your server, logged in account (Administrator) will be made as Amelia Administrator. You are not able to use this WordPress account for new Employee, because it is already used for Administrator role. You can take a look in our documentation about Users and Roles in the Amelia WordPress Booking Plugin.
2) When you create new employee you have option to create new WordPress users or to bind it for existing one that have only Amelia Employee role(that is not assign yet), but you can not make new Employee with WordPress users that is already assign as Administrator role.
3) Can you please tell me did you made this with some custom role(not Administrator)? Can you please explain to me how you achieve this because it is not possible?
As I can see you opened another ticket regarding this matter so please check it out and you can continue resolving this there, and I believe we covered this issue over emails as well, so please check my response there as well. Thank you!
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
