We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
we want to make a registration form for a dancing event.
People register via a form on our homepage and the data is written into a database.
Then we want to administrate the registration data: clear and easy presentation of the data, send standard emails to individuals of the database, setting flags of individuals e.g. payed/not payed, accepted/not accepted and finally graphical presentation of filtered information on the web page.
Is this principally possible with the a-data table plugin?
Greetings, Lars
Hello Lars.
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
You say you want to make a registration form. We currently have integration with Gravity Forms and Formidable Forms, so you can make the form with one of these two plugins.
The main difference here is that tables created from Gravity forms are editable, while the ones created from Formidable are not.
To display the data from the registration form is fairly easy, and you can see it in the documentation. Sending e-mails, however, cannot be achieved with wpDataTables, but I believe those features are implemented upon completing the form in these two Form plugins. You can, however, send an e-mail by clicking on a cell if you pass the value as a string, and set the content to be:
But I don't know if that would be useful for your case.
Can you please explain in a bit more detail what the idea is with the resulting tables, so I can provide better answers?
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
