wpDataTables is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) concept based plugin. This means that the table should look the same both in back-end and in front-end. If your front-end table looks and behaves differently than in back-end, this usually implies that there is another plugin (or the current theme) that's changing the behavior of our plugin.
If you're not able to fix the issue, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Also, please tell me if I have your permission to deactivate plugins and change the theme for testing purposes?
i have no approvals made. I test also to activate Avada and the same error happen. I made a update von wptables and the theme kleo, but the edit from a table don´t work.
I'm sorry, but I simply cannot make any changes without that warning coming up. I cannot go back in after it comes up.
We have had issues with the Kleo theme in the past, and the issue was resolved by adding some custom CSS to wpDataTables main settings:
#wdt-frontend-modal > div {
left: 0px !important;
}
This should overwrite the CSS inherited from the theme, so please check and let me know if this resolves the issue.
I tried it live on the page, but it doesn't apply there. I also don't know if it will work for you, but I do know that there are some compatibility issues with the theme.
Hello, when i click Edit in tables ther is no Pop-Up to edit. There is only a darker Screen. Thanks a lot for your help.
Hello simonegle.
How does the table behave in the back-end?

Hello again simonegle.
I tried changing the theme to a simple "Avada" theme, and it came up with a warning:
Die Website hat technische Schwierigkeiten. Bitte das E-Mail-Postfach des Website-Administrators prüfen, um dort weitere Anweisungen zu finden.
I believe you need to check your inbox. Do you have any approvals set so no accidental changes are made?
Best regards.
