We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, I would like to copy a subdomain (with associated posts and pages) to another subdomain within my network. However, I get the following error:
ERROR SQL ON : DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `wp_14_amelia_appointments`
WPDB ERROR : Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails
Is there anything I can do to prevent this?
Thank you.
Regards,
Stijn Wouters
Hi Stijn,
Thank you for your purcahse.
Sorry for late response.
We are located in Serbia and our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET. business days.
If you are deleting tables then you need to eneble foreign keys option(in phpmyadmin) or force to be deleted(Sequel pro). (attachments)
Also you can check is your database support foreing keys.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic

Hello Milan,
Thanks for your answer. I am wondering why I get this message when I try to duplicate a sub domain and if I can ignore the foreign keys while duplicating the site?
Apparently the dupplication plugin (Multisite Clone Duplicator) drops some tables in the duplication process. But what foreign keys do exist when it tries to drop the appointments table? I have cleared all my appointments in the database.
Please advise what I should do.
Kind regards,
Stijn Wouters
Hi Stijn,
We are not familiar with functionality of that plugin, so we are not sure why is not deleted all foreign key tables. That is the question for support of that plugin.
What you can do is to delete all Amelia tables in database manually and then just activate plugin and all tables will be created again.
Also, you can use Plugin Duplicator. We use it and it's working fine, because he will transfer all the files and also the tables to database.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Isidora Markovic
