Our client has successfully connected her Google Calendar, but there are inconsistencies on whether or not an Amelia time slot correctly shows as already being busy in Google Calendar. Some time slots marked as "busy" or "booked" in Google Calendar still show up as available in Amelia. For example, the employee "Dawn Offel" is booked until 2:30 on May 17 in Google Calendar, but Amelia shows that she is free.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
AS I can see you have 2 Amelia plugins installed on your site (attachment)
Can you please tell me did you follow these instructions when updating the plugin
Manual Update
When downloading the new plugin version from CodeCanyon, please follow these steps to update manually from the existing version:
1. Go to your FTP and open WordPress plugins folder 2. Delete the old Amelia version folder 3. Upload the new version of Amelia 4. Go to WP-admin panel, and open the Plugins section 5. Deactivate Amelia, and then activate it again
Hi, Bogdan. We downloaded the latest Amelia from CodeCanyon, deleted old and duplicated versions of the plugin by sftp, and then uploaded the newest version by sftp, but the Amelia calendar for employee Dawn Offel still does not sync correctly: THIS IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE >>> Some, but not all, events in Google Calendar do not show up as busy in Amelia (even though all of her Google events are marked as "busy"). It does appear the Amelia bookings are showing up sometimes in Google Calendar.
Dawn is going to disconnect her Google Calendar and try to reconnect it in Staging.
For me, as employee Mark Woodruff, all Amelia bookings appear to correctly sync to Google Calendar, and Google Calendar events show correctly in Amelia.
Hi, Bodgan. Have you logged into the Staging site to explore what might be wrong? Can you please look at other user issues you've had syncing with Google Calendar give us some guidance on ANY kinds of possible solutions as to why our client can't sync Amelia and Google Calendar? Our client is very frustrated and blaming Amelia right now, and we really need your help to determine what might be the issue, even if it's related to her Google Calendar settings. For example, have you seen issues occur where a user has Google Calendar set to recognize or connect to multiple email addresses?
If not please check do you have installed and enabled mod security.
Mod security does not allow me to pass url as a url parameter. You need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to disable mod_security or to allow url parameter in the url.
After that everything will be fine and you will be able to connect the Employee with Google Calendar.
We are not able to add the staging site in the "Authorized redirect URI" field because we first have to add the domain, but Google won't all us to add the staging site domain because it "Must be a top private domain" (see screenshot): https://prnt.sc/nrhn4o
I don't understand why we have this error, because we are able to connect other Employees in Staging?
Also, what is your time zone relative to US Central Daylight Time? Our client is very anxious and it would help if I know when I can reach you without a one-day delay. Thanks!
We have given up on trying to get the employee Dawn connected in Staging and are trying to get her Google Calendar working in the live site, https://vibrantweightloss.com/book
It seems to be working better for her, but she noticed that only three days are accurately syncing. I changed "Default items per page" from 12 to 24 https://prnt.sc/nrz143
And I also changed "Maximum number of events returned" from 50 to 100, and then to 2500: https://prnt.sc/nrz0fh
This setting seemed to extend the Google Calendar ability to sync to more than 3 days. Can you please elaborate?
I think we might have figured out the problem. We changed the settings. See the screenshots. Do you know why changing these settings fixed the problem and allowed the Employee (Dawn) to correctly sync her Google Calendar? https://vibrantweightloss.com/booking

Why are items booked in Google Calendar still showing as available in Amelia?
HI misterwoodman,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please tell me is the option in the Amelia Settings-> Google calendar settings Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots enabled ( attachment )
This should solve the issue.
Best regards.

HI misterwoodman,
Sorry for late response, we are not working on weekends.
Ok can you please let me know when Dawn connects his Google calendar again does he have the same issue.
Probably some settings are not good, because it works for other employees as you said.
Best regards.

Hi misterwoodman,
I tested out on your staging site with the test employee and successfully connected to the google calendar.
Also like you said other employees are successfully connected to the calendar but the dawn not.
When I try to connect her to my google calendar this is what I get
The redirect URI in the request, https://vibrantstaging.wpengine.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpamelia-employees, does not match the ones authorized for the OAuth client. To update the authorized redirect URIs, visit: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials/oauthclient/760855421353-4vue45rocop1o1bflplqf0luj35o91l8.apps.googleusercontent.com?project=760855421353
You need to add https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpamelia-employees in the Authorized redirect URIs field. Can you please send me the screenshot of your authorized redirect URIs fields to see if the staging URL is added.
If not please check do you have installed and enabled mod security. Mod security does not allow me to pass url as a url parameter. You need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to disable mod_security or to allow url parameter in the url.

HI misterwoodman,
Our working time is from 10:00 to 17:00 CET, we are located in Serbia.
Can you please go to the link that shows you in the error when you try to connect to google calendar that employee.
From there click on project ( attachment) and from there add the URL from your Amelia settings-> Google calendar settings page (attachment 2)

HI misterwoodman,
Ok,
When you say three days are currently syncing, can you please tell me where, on google calendar or from google calendar to Amelia time slots?
Google calendar will sync the appointments and time slots from the moment you connect employee to the calendar, and then make appointments.
The new appointments will be synced from that moment, but the old ones (appointments that are made in past) will not be synced.
Best regards.

Hi misterwoodman,
The only thing that comes through my mind is that if the employee Dawn have more events in the calendar that is defined in the settings.
But you mentioned that Dawn does not have that amount of Events in the calendar, which is very strange why the issue persist at first.
Best regards.
