Mulriple booking options when I add an extra

    Hi there,

I've set up a booking for a workshop that takes three hours.

As an 'extra' there is an option for a lunch afterwards. This is one hour extra.

I've set the employee time for 4 hours. (by the way it is entered under the 'special day' tab, since it is a non recurring workshop).

When a client doesn't choose for the extra lunch, I see the option for three time slots: 9.30 - 12.30 / 10.00 - 13.00 / 10.30 - 13.30. I only want the first time slot to appear as an option. How do I fix this?

    Another question:

is there a way for the 'extra' to show on the second page of the booking (the one where the clients enters his email and name)?

So it can be added to the workshop over there?

    Thank you ,
    best,

    Rick Claassen

    Hi Rick,
    Thank you for your purchase.

You have option Use service duration for booking a time slot in General settings of plugin.

Enable this option if you need to set the time slots on the booking form to be the same as service duration. For example: let’s say you provide a service between 5:30pm and 9:30pm and the serves lasts 1 hour. If you use this Default Time Slot Step 30 minutes, your clients will see  available time slots at 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 etc., If however, someone books 6pm the preceding half hour cannot be used (a customer cannot book because the service lasts 1 hour). If you enable the service duration option however, customers will see 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 as the available times and there will not be a time shown that cannot be booked.

Unfortunately that is not possible with built in features of plugin.

    Best regards.

    Hi Milan,

    thanks for your reply.

Sort of fixed it, but with a workaround.

I've got three-hour workshops, which start at 9.30 and last until 12.30.

However when I set the service duration setting at 1h intervals, the available slots in the booking calendar start on the hour, and when I set it at 3h it can't fit in the workshop, because this also starts on the hour. Leaving only a too short, 2.5 hour time slot.

So I've now set the service duration settings to 30 mins, the workshop duration at three hours, and my working day als at three hours.

I've set no duration, for the one hour lunch that can be booked as an extra after the workshop.  So this causes no extra issues now.

If there is a way however to set the service duration to three hours, with a start at 9.30, I would be glad to hear about it.

    Thanks,

    take care,
    Rick

    Hi Rick,

When you set service duration on 3h and turn on option Use service duration for booking a time slot your slots in calendar will be 3h no matter what you set on Default time slot step. Then on employee working hours you can set period form 9:30  to 13:30 and assign to this service. If you set this for Monday it will be available for every Monday. If you need for specific day then you can set Special day.

Like this your customers will see time slot 9:30  to 12:30 and if they want extras (lunch that last 1h) they will be able to add it because you set working hours from 9:30  to 13:30 (3h workshop and extras 1h for lunch).

    Best regards.
