I am sorry to disappoint you, but adding a different CSV file to an existing table is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
If you created a table using the first option (Create a table linked to an existing data source), that file is being storred in ../wp-content/uploads/YEAR/MONTH, so if you want to update the same file, and see the changes in wpDataTables, you can overwrite the file in that folder.
Please note: Once you create a table from a CSV file, changes in this file like:
Changing the column’s name,
Changing the column’s order,
Deleting the column, and
Adding a new column.
are highly not recommended, because the table in the wpDataTable plugin will not work, at the moment. If you make any of these changes, please recreate the table again.
Is there a way to upload a CSV to add onto a previously created table?
