I'm trying to download the wpDataTables plugin in the email you sent me after I purchased it. When I upload it to Wordpress I get this error, "the link you followed has expired". This is my first time downloading it! HELP! I tried adding the plugin directly into the wp website, and it's all messed up. I need this for a deadline project. HELP ASAP. Thanks
Sorry for late response, we are not working on weekends.
This is most likely problem with memory limit. Could you check these values on your server
upload_max_file size,
post_max_size ,
max_execution_time
You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.
The ‘upload max.file size’ I suppose that is set on 2Mb while you are trying to upload a 9Mb file(size of our plugin). Changed it and it will work.
Sorry for misunderstanding, but I do not quite get what the issue is here, You mentioned in the first reply that you get this error when you upload it to the WordPress.
This is a common issue with the limit that is set to your WordPress, My suggestion is to check your limits for the upload_max_file size because other customers have this same issue and error massage and this was the reason of it. You can also ask your hosting provider about this.
You can only download the plugin 5 times from the email, but if you are logged in to our store you can download it as many times as you like.
Even when I try to use the FREE lite version, I get a weird interface. It's condensed, and won't let me create a new table. (see attachments) I've used this plugin on other sites, and have never had this issue.
As for the interface this looks like a conflict with some other plugin.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I believe it's not related to the WP version you have installed, but instead either a theme currently active, or one of the other plugins.
Also, you mentioned you have the Lite version installed. The issue you mentioned ("Link you followed has expired"), or "Folder already exists" can be linked to that. If you have no tables created yet, can you try deleting the Lite version, and try to upload the .zip again?
Also, remote access would still be the best way to resolve the issue, so we'll wait for your response.

No. The error has nothing to do with size limit. I attached the error. The link expired.
The error says try again, so I tried again... and now it says I reached my limit with downloading. Even though I haven't uploaded it to any sites yet.
I need this today.
HELP!
Michelle

We are still on Wordpress 4.9.10, and NOT ready to update to 5.0 yet. So we can't update. PLEASE.
I need to check with our I.T. dept before I give you access. Let me check this morning.
