Hey everyone!
With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:
- New Year: Our team will be off on January 1st and 2nd. We’ll be back on Friday, January 3rd, to respond to any messages received during this time.
- Weekend: As usual, we don’t work on weekends, so January 4th and 5th will also be non-working days.
- Orthodox Christmas: Our office will be closed on Tuesday, January 7th for the holiday.
After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards and happy holidays!

Hello, I have a question about the Wordpress account. One of my employee already has a wordpress website with an associated wordpress account. How does that work in this case ? Does the amelia plugin come in her dashboard ?
Thank you for your help,
Roxane
Hi Roxane,
Unfortunately I didn't understand the question. Can you please explain it in more details? Do you mean on account on http://wordpress.org?
Hey Milos, sorry I'll try to make it clearer.
I have a new employee. I created her profile in Amelia in Employee. In the "Wordpress User" bar, I chose "create a new wordpress user" so she received an email to put a new password and have an access to the backend to set her schedule in Amelia. However, she told me she already has a wordpress.org website with the same backend than I (but with different plugins...) So I just wanted to know how it works for employees who have a website on wordpress.org with the same email address and password to access their backend. Maybe the Amelia plugin is just added to their backend with the rest of the plugins of her own website ? She already use her email adress for her own website that is on wordpress as well.
Let me know if it is clear.
Thank you for your help,
Roxane
Hi Roxane,
WordPress user needs to have role Amelia Employee in order to appear in the WordPress User field in Edit Employee modal. Probably she had different User Role than Amelia Employee and because of that her user didn't appear in WordPress User field.
If you want that user have multiple roles e.g. Admin and Amelia Employee that you can find some plugin that allow this. I think that there are a lot free plugins that extend WordPress user roles.
