We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi there,
I'm looking at purchasing this plugin for a client that runs a children's local sports coaching website that the parents can book a time-slot for their child to take part in a sports session.
My question is that, is it possible to give the booking customer on the site the option of paying either in person or via payment gateway on the site?
I've played around with the demos on here and some of them show that both the options are active but once you change them you can't change them back to have 'Pay in person' active, as well as another method of payment. I'm also yet to find a demo of this on the 'frontend demos' as well, where the user would get a prompt to complete payment online or in person.
Many thanks,
Adam
Hi Adam,
Thank you for the inquiry.
It is possible to have multiple payment options at the same time. Amelia supports 3 payment methods (On-site, PayPal and Stripe) and it is possible to use all these payment methods combined.
Amelia also supports integration with WooCommerce, if you want to use some other payment method that is not available with Amelia out of the box. If you are using WooCommerce as a payment method, than you can't use other 3 payments methods that I described above. I don't think that you need a WooCommerce integration so you can easily use these 3 payment methods above.
You can read more about payments configuration at this link from our documentation - Configuring Payments and Payment Systems in the Amelia WordPress Booking Plugin.
You can try our demo site: Front-end & Back-end - you can find a fully functional version there to try out all plugin features.
