We are using the plugin to have an event list but need additional functionalities such as time stamp (to know when someone enters info) and the ability to know if the same information has been previously entered like in excel an autofill option sort-a-speak.
I am sorry to disappoint you, though, but timestamp is not built in the plugin. If you were to create an SQL table in PHPMyAdmin which uses timestamp, you'd have to convert it to a format known to wpDataTables, so it would be able to display that data.
Also, checking if the information has already been entered in the table also isn't in the features list yet. We're constantly working on improving the plugin, and it is on our to-do list, but unfortunately, at the moment it can only be implemented as a custom solution.
