Hey everyone!
With the holiday season upon us, we want to share our upcoming working hours:
- New Year: Our team will be off on January 1st and 2nd. We’ll be back on Friday, January 3rd, to respond to any messages received during this time.
- Weekend: As usual, we don’t work on weekends, so January 4th and 5th will also be non-working days.
- Orthodox Christmas: Our office will be closed on Tuesday, January 7th for the holiday.
After that, we’ll return to our regular schedule and assist you as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find tons of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel), which might just have the answers you need while we’re away.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Warm regards and happy holidays!

Hi,
I am very new to Amelia. Very excited to introduce my new services to customers.
I succeeded connecting Amelia with Google Calendar. Is it possible to import employees' existing scheduled events into Amelia? This is to let customers see the employees' reserved schedule in order to avoid the employees' doubled bookings.
Thanks,
HI ouka1102,
Thank you for your purchase.
As I understand you want to disable the time slots if there is an event in the google calendar for that employee or something else.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes. I thought Amelia>Setting>GoogleCalendar> and the 2nd option from the bottom (it's displayed in my local language so I can't tell you in English) is the one I need to turn on. And it worked. But the Google Calendar schedules don't contain location information.
Can this be solved?
Hi ouka1102,
You can use the Event description ( attachment) and use the placeholders from the notifications page.
%location_address%
%location_name%
Best regards.

OK. Thank you.
One more question. I intend to use this plugin as school class sign up. Eg. I want to set the Class A on Monday at 10:00am and the Class B on Monday at 11:00. Students visit Amelia catalog to see what day classes are opened, and sign up to their choice.
Can I do this with Amelia?
HI ouka1102,
Are those classes repeated every week or only on some week?
Best regards.

Hi Bogdan,
Thank you.
I was looking at Amelia>Employee, and learned each employee can modify each period with what service to provide. This is useful each classes are repeated consistently every week.
But my intention is to assign classes more flexible. The Class A is provided Monday at 10:00am this week, but next week may be Tuesday at 11:00. It is a kind of random schedule.
Is it possible?
Oops. I didn't know I had more than one account here. I started this ticket at work and now at home. Both are myself. I hope it doesn't bother you.
Hi Katsufumi,
Ok then you should use the special days .
More information on this link
Special Days – This feature allows you to set one or multiple days in which your employee will have different working hours and/or provide different services. Whether you need to set shorter or longer working hours for just one day or a period, or set a different service for one specific day or a whole week, here you can do all of this. Once you set it, it will override employee’s general working hours and service schedule but it will not override the days off. Click on the “Add Special Day” button and new options will appear. In Date option choose a date or a range of dates, then set one or multiple periods of time with working hours and choose one or multiple services for each of them in the Service option. After you configure the special schedule, click on the “Save Special Day” button and this schedule will be applied.
Hope this can help you out.
Best regards.
