Is there a way to display only rows 3-8 instead of the entire table. Like something I can add to the table short code?

I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
You can change the amount of rows being displayed by default:
Or if those rows you want to hide have some specific values - you can hide them using conditional formatting - by assigning a css class:
You then need to add this to Custom CSS field:
table.wpDataTable hide { display: none !important; }I hope this helps.
