I need help. I have successfully downloaded wpDataTables to my computer. My problem is then when I upload it to WordPress as a Plug In. It does not allow me and says the link has expired (see below). I have tried to follow the instructions on wpdatatables.com/general/installation. Can someone step me through the process of downloading and uploading to WordPress? Is it supposed to be a .zip file? A .zip folder? None of this is working.
The correct way is to upload the .zip file you downloaded in the "Plugins" section in your Dashboard. The error you keep getting may be a glitch, or an error occurred during download. Anyway, my suggestion is to install the plugin manually by following these steps:
The issue is - I purchased wpDataTables through Paddle, directly from the wpDataTables site. I have a folder downloaded called wpdata tables - and I tried to upload it both zipped and unzipped. Neither of which were successful. Is there a purchase code or subscription # I can add through CodeCanyon? Their site is showing I haven't bought anything yet.

Hi again Kevin.
Thank you for your purchase.
The correct way is to upload the .zip file you downloaded in the "Plugins" section in your Dashboard. The error you keep getting may be a glitch, or an error occurred during download. Anyway, my suggestion is to install the plugin manually by following these steps:
1. Download zip from this link
2. Use FTP to open /your_wordpress_folder/wp-content/plugins
3. Upload previously downloaded wpDataTables folder through FTP to plugins folder (unzip it)
4. Go to WP-admin panel, open Plugins section.
5. Activate the plugin.
6. Clear server and browser cache
Please let me know if you were able to install it.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
