We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
There are 2 distinct questions I would like to ask:
- I was wondering if there is a way to display single cell value outside the table, in post sentence for example. // Number of passenger is [table_value]. If not please give me a direction for a workaround.
- Is there a way to set the default value for a date cloumn to todays date for every new entry ?
Kind regards,
Jeremy.
Hello Jeremy.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but none of these two features are available as plugin's built in features.
A possible workaround would be to display the entry in a new table, using SQL query. So, to pull it out of the table would be impossible, but to display it like this:
Is possible, if that would suit your needs.
Setting the pre-defined value for the date column can only be set to a single date, and %TODAY% placeholder wouldn't apply here.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksander,
Thank you for your reply. How much would it cost to ask for an add-on that allows shortcodes on single cell ?
I also realised that the google pie chart does not update when there is a new entry, unless I update the wordpress page ? Maybe there is a way to include all pages by default when follow filtering option is on ?
Kind Regards,
Jeremy.
Hello Jeremy.
I'm sorry to say that our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.
But we can recommend this service for customization: https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins (by this link they would know you come from us) - they do develop such custom solutions, could you please send your inquiry to them?
As for the Google Pie chart - I just want to make sure I understood you correctly - when you add a new entry, the chart doesn't refresh until you refresh the entire page, correct?
Could you share the page where I can test this with me, so I have a better picture of the issue?
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
