Let's say I have an event with minimum 3 people, and maximum 4, and it costs $10. 2 different people sign up and pay, and the class doesn't reach the minimum.
What happens then?
Are they charged upon registration or only when the class is confirmed?
If the minimum isn't reached, do they automatically get a refund?
For this use case, you will need to enable the option Allow booking below minimum capacity which can be found in Amelia Settings->Appointment settings (attachment)
In this case the appointment can be booked but the status for appointment will be Pending by default, you will need to manually change the status to approved.

Or is this all manual?
I have the same question.
HI eeinarsson,
Thank you for your purchase.

Best regards.

So I've tested this, and this is what seems to happen. I use Stripe in test mode.
1. I book a session, where 2 is mininum.
2. Booking goes through, and is marked as pending in Appointments, and marked as Paid.
3. I mark the appointment as cancelled. Under Appointments the payment field now shows 0.
4. Under Finance, the payment is still there, and in Stripe's dashboard, the payment is shown, but no refund.
So it seems the payment is taken uppon booking, even though the appointment is still pending. Is this what is suppose to happen?
Also, if a client cancels the appointment within the set time, would they get a refund automatically?
Hi eeinarsson,
Sorry for late response.

Yes , this should work like this.
Also, if a client cancels the appointment within the set time, would they get a refund automatically?
No, you will need to manually check this and refund the money, for now there is no option to automatically refund the money to the customers.
Best regards.
