For using the filters on the page, above or in the table, there is an option to disable the "Clear Filters" button in the table's settings:
If the filters are located in a modal, removing that "clear filters" button will have to be removed using some custom CSS. Can you, please, share the page where the issue is with us, so we can inspect?
I'm sorry Andrew, but I believe there are no pages or posts containing wpDataTables.
I created a TEST SUPPORT page, where I added the only table you have, but it's displaying correctly.
Can you, please, share some information with me? Can you configure the page, so the issue is displayed? And please explain which "Clear Filters" button you want to get rid of, once you create that page. You can attach some screenshots, explaining the issue.
The filters in a widget don't behave the same as they do when they are being displayed above or inside the table, so the button cannot be hidden by simple settings.
cant remove the initial clear filters button that goes at the beginning of the filter table when we have engaged the second one to appear at the end.

Thanks, Andrew.
I got it.
The filters in a widget don't behave the same as they do when they are being displayed above or inside the table, so the button cannot be hidden by simple settings.
It can, however, be done with custom CSS:
I added it to "Additional CSS" so the top filter should be removed now.
Best regards.
