We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I have 3 columns
DATE. STRING. FLOAT
for each STRING I want to plot the TimeSeries of FLOAT versus DATE
So that i end up with each STRING TimeSeries visible as a separate dataset on the chart.
What’s the format of the table?
No webpage explains exactly how this is done!
Hello A3igner.
I am sorry, but I did not quite understand what you're trying to achieve.
Could you, please, explain in a bit more details? And if possible - please provide some screenshots of what you'd like to get?
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello Aleksandar.
Ok please look at these two example charts.
Then look at the table i created and what happens when i try to create a chart with this table. See screenshots.
This is the table i have created.
So i have three columns ( DATE, STRING & FLOAT)
I can plot DATE vs FLOAT like a single line chart that works fine.
What i want is multiple single lines for each STRING. So say 4-5 different line curves next to each other. Each single line labeled according to STRING column.
I tried grouping by STRING but that does not work either. Only one STRING or DATE column allowed. How are you supposed to plot multiple lines charts then? I can see it is possible somehow ?!?
This is how it looks like in Excel
Hello again A3igner.
Again, sir, you're correct - only one "String" type column can be added when generating a chart (date, string, datetime, URL). All other columns need to be either Integer or Float, for the plugin to be able to successfully generate the chart.
You're mentioning a multi-line chart, so I invite you again to take a look at our documentation, just like I did in the ticket:
https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/1954039/
You see multiple lines for three car models there, and how to utilize the table in a way to show multiple lines.
When I take a look at your Excel table - I see that only one column is "date", all others contain numbers, so either float or integer type. This is how our plugin would be to create the chart - using one date type column and other numbering columns.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
