I have come to know from your replies to others that third option i.e., "Create a table by importing data from data source" works best if we need speed but the problem is, if I change/update the data then I have to again add another table & do all the customisation again like hiding few columns, showing few on mobile , hiding few on desktop etc... however when I had selected the first option that was importing it from Excel the I had to just re import the data source & no need to do the table customisation again.
For SEO speed matters, plz suggest how I can use third option i.e., "Create a table by importing data from data source" & don't need to repeat the table customisation if I have to update the data.
Secondly, please recommend a better caching plugin which can work with wpdata tables, either wpsuper cache or the premium one available on codecanyoan Fresh Performance Cache - WordPress Plugin.
I think you did not get my question, it was not about slow load on multiselect filter rather it was about when I select the option "Create a table by importing data from data source" then the tae does not fully loads..see the screenshot attached... However I have read in some forum that seelcting "Create a table by importing data from data source" is faster option.., as of now I have again switched to the first option i.e., create a table linked to an existing data source, which is faster for me now but on various forums people are saying that creating table using the third option is faster...
Secondly, please recommend a better caching plugin which can work with wpdata tables, either wpsuper cache or the premium one available on codecanyoan Fresh Performance Cache - WordPress Plugin.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Importing data is faster up to a certain point. It all depends on the size of the table, the number of columns x the number of rows. It is generally faster, but you have to note that those tables are being considered as "Manual" tables, which are server-side tables per default. It calculates the table each time you load it, and that's why it's loading longer. If you set it to display a greater amount of rows, it may slow down or even break.
As for caching plugin - I see users are installing WP Rocket and using it without much issues.
Sorry but still unclear, my query is which option is faster and loads tables without any break like the attachment I shared in prev comment, the attachment I shared was when I had used the third option while creating the table but now I may currently using the first option which does not break d table but at the same time I want to make sure that my blog is fast loading which is needed for better Google indexing.
To directly answer your question - the first option is faster, because it loads only the data needed for the page you're currently on. If you have 100.000 rows, and only 10 are displayed per page, the plugin will load only those 10 rows thus avoiding longer load time.
Version 2.5.1 (released 15.04.2019) A minor release with a couple of improvements.
Feature: New auto-update and plugin activation system. Make sure to re-acivate your purchase once again to make it work.
Small bug fixes and stability improvements.
With regards to the autoupdate – the new activation and auto-update system released in this version should help!
When you go to main wpDataTables settings, you will see a new tab called “Activation”. Once you update the plugin, deactivate it from the Dashboard/Plugins, and activate it again, you need to go there and click on “ACTIVATE WITH ENVATO” button.

Hey rakesh.
I believe I may have found a work-around for the loading issue on multi-select filters.
Could you, please, go to column settings, and under "Data" change "Number of possible values to load" to "All":
That should solve the loading issue when you click on the filter drop-down.
Best regards.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
